World Bicycle Day: An event to acknowledge, celebrate the benefits of cycling, to recognize the versatility, uniqueness, reliability and sustainability as a zero pollution mode of transport.
Our Prasiddhians on June 3rd 2023 enjoyed the joy of riding their bicycles, wearing helmets and displaying slogans to promote a healthy lifestyle – a pathway for achieving greater health equity. The message conveyed to the citizens that the environment friendly vehicle-its usage lowers greenhouse gas emissions and reduces air pollution.

AKSHARA ABHYASA & PARENT ORIENTATION
“AKSHARA ABHYASA “ & “PARENT ORIENTATION” for Pre Primary Kids.
A traditional ceremony through which the children are introduced to the world of education by worshipping Goddess Saraswati.
On 5th June , the little prasiddhians were guided by the parents and teachers to write the alphabet on a sand tray and the Bhagavad Gita teacher chanted the shlokas to invoke Goddess Saraswati for a successful academic year ahead.
Akhshara Abhyasa was followed by Parent orientation . Principal Mrs.Radha Gurumurthy gave an inspiring speech and explained about the curriculum and the rules and regulations of the school.
We thank our management for their continuous support and guidance.
ENVIRONMENT DAY
The best way to celebrate the Environment Day is to care the nature. Prasiddhi being a nature centered school, offers the best possible opportunities to its Prasiddhians to explore and connect with nature and conserve it.
Today, the air was filled with environment protection slogans and messages to mark the occasion. The students brought saplings to mark their solemn participation in this environment day celebration.
A collaborative effort was made by the teachers and students to ensure an informative assembly supporting environmental conservation was put up.
The Principal, Ms. Radha Gurumurthy gave a powerful message during her talk in the morning assembly. She emphasised on the importance to observe the 2023 campaign called ‘Beat the Plastic Pollution’.
Prasiddhians took over the pledge to save the Environment as they are the pillars of our country.
WORLD OCEANS DAY
World Oceans Day: It’s time to act now to protect the ocean for future generations. World Ocean Day on June 8th is the perfect time for that. We, at Prasiddhi, celebrated this to raise awareness of the plight of the oceans and the marine ecosystem. Students came up with a speech, on the importance of the day with fascinating facts on oceans. And finally, a quiz was conducted by the Principal Mrs Radha Gurumurthy, in which many children actively took part.
ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Orientation Program: The orientation program for parents was held on Saturday 10-06-2023. Principal Mrs Radha Gurumurthy addressed the parents and spoke about campus environment facilities, infrastructure and academic standards. She emphasized on punctuality of children, eating healthy food, curricular and co-curricular activities, transport, and responsibilities of the parents. Queries related to academic progress were clarified to ensure the holistic development of our Prasiddhians.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
International Yoga Day : International Yoga Day was celebrated in our campus on 21.06.2023. Students of grades IX , X, and pre-primary demonstrated various yoga asanas. They put up an enthusiastic show. The importance of these asanas were explained. Children were motivated to learn yoga. This year, the theme for International Yoga Day 2023 is “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” effectively encapsulating our collective aspiration for ‘One Earth, One Family, and One Future.’
Our Principal, Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy too encouraged students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and to improve concentration.
NATIONAL DOCTORS’ DAY
National Doctors’ Day was held on 1st July in memory of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day serves as a reminder of the invaluable services rendered by the doctors. During the morning assembly a Prasiddhian spoke about the importance of the profession. Adding to it, our Principal Mrs.Radha Gurumurthy gave a speech on the noble profession. Doctors play a vital role in our society which is a dream profession for many students.
GURU PURNIMA
A special assembly was held on 3rd July 2023 on account of Guru Purnima. Our Sanskrit teacher spoke about the significance of the celebration. K.G. toddlers chanted the shloka “ Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Devo” which was mesmerising. Our principal Mrs.Radha Gurumurthy emphasized the relationship between a Guru and Shishya. Class IV students conducted the assembly in a systematic manner. The Assembly touched the hearts of all the Gurus.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
The Investiture Ceremony of Prasiddhi School was held on July 8th,2023. The function was presided by our Principal Mrs Radha Gurumurthy. We thank our Management for their continuous support and guidance. The newly elected leaders were conferred with their respective badges and sashes. Volunteers were also honoured with badges. The oath-taking ceremony was led by our Principal. She delivered a motivational speech inspiring the newly elected leaders to make the right decision, imbibe moral values, discipline, cooperation and shaping their leadership qualities.
To mark the solemnity of the occasion, the tiny tots of LKG and Grade-I dressed up like some of the great leaders of the nation like Mahatma Gandhi, APJ Abdul Kalam, B.R.Ambedkar, Indira Gandhi and others. It was truly an inspiration to young Prasiddhi leaders. The ceremony ended with a cake cutting to celebrate the occasion of installing the new leaders at Prasiddhi. We wish them Good Luck!!
KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS
कारगिल विजय दिवस की शुभकामनाएं।
1999 में भारतीय सेना ने पाकिस्तानी फौज को रणभूमि में धूल चटा दी थी। यह युद्ध 60 दिनों तक चला और 26 जुलाई 1999 को भारत ने पाकिस्तान को हरा दिया था।
इस युद्ध में 500 से ज्यादा भारतीय जवान शहीद हुए। कारगिल युद्ध को “आपरेशन विजय” के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
प्रसिद्धि पाठशाला में, सुबह की सभा में देश प्रेम की भावना जागृत करने के लिए, विद्यार्थियों ने कारगिल विजय दिवस पर सुविचार, सूचना (हिंदी –संस्कृत), रोचक तथ्य, देशभक्ति गीत और कविता से ओतप्रोत कर दिया। शहीदों के शौर्य,साहस और बलिदान पर भाषण दिया गया। प्रधानाचार्या जी ने भी इस अवसर पर सभा को सम्बोधित किया।

Our Students were fortunate to have a unique opportunity to meet and interact with our Honourable Prime minister Shri Modi ji on 11 th August at The Parliament House in New Delhi.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school campus. Our secretary, Sri Narayana Raju sir and our Principal, Mrs Radha Gurumurthy hoisted the flag. The solemn speech by our Principal made us realize the importance of being united. The patriotic songs with drill performances by Primary students was amazing. The Pre-Primary children, adorned the day by dressing up as our freedom fighters. Our Hindi teacher and Kannada teacher gave informative speeches. Finally, we had the Khathak performance by senior girls and Acrobats by boys. This was an eye-catching event. Parents witnessed the program with keen interest.
We concluded our Independence Day celebration by distributing sweets to our students.
TEACHERS’ DAY & KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI

Teachers day was celebrated with great pomp and splendor at Prasiddhi on 5th September. Along with it Krishna Janmashtami celebrations was also incorporated.
The day began with the unusual loud cheering by the students as the teachers took their walk onto the stage. The teachers were bestowed with a red rose.The Tiny Tots of Pre-primary presented their mesmerizing dance performance depicting the important life events of Lord Krishna. This was followed by an English skit on the life of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and his glorious life and contributions in molding Independent India.
The students of VI and VII contributed a brilliant mime enacting the daily classroom activities and scenario. The students of VIII & IX put their best foot forward for a fantastic dance. The teachers were engaged with thrilling games and riddles too. The zeal and zest of the teachers was raised up with every performance. There was also a scintillating ramp walk by the grade IX students showcasing the different costumes of India and other countries. The icing on the cake was the final surprise by the great X students with their foot tapping dance performance.
The entire program was planned by the students of grade X under the guidance of our principal ma’am Ms.Radha Gurumurthy.
The day ended with cherished memories embedded in the hearts of the teachers
GRANDPARENTS DAY
Grandparents are the perfect blend of love, laughter, caring, experiences, and happy memories. At Prasiddhi, we celebrated Grandparents Day. Students extended their heartwarming welcome to all their grandparents on this special day and expressed immense joy.
On this day, a variety of games and activities were conducted. The day was filled with cherished memories, their past stories etc.… emphasizing the attachment between the grandparents and the toddlers.

ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಧಾ ಗುರುಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು, ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾಡಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಚ್ಚೇವು ಕನ್ನಡದ ದೀಪ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶದಂತೆ ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿ ತಾಯಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿಯ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ, ನೃತ್ಯ, ನಾಟಕಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು.

SPORTS MEET – 2023-24
The much-awaited sports meet was conducted on 11th November 2023 in the school campus—a break from the academic routine, to enjoy, participate, and create a positive sporting environment. The school flag was hoisted by our secretary, Sri Narayana Raju Sir, followed by the grand march past. Principal Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy declared the sports meet open.
To boost the mental and physical development of our pre-primary tiny tots, an obstacle race was conducted. To establish a sense of friendliness and team spirit, athletic events were conducted for junior and senior students. The principal honored the winners and the winning house. A tug of war game was conducted between teachers and students. The culmination of the sports meet was the closing ceremony followed by the vote of thanks.
FOUNDERS DAY
Founders Day – 13th November 2023 observed on 15th November 2023
Prasiddhi School celebrated its 32nd Founders’ Day with great reverence for its inception by the late Shri N.C. Madhu Raju and our secretary, Shri S Narayana Raju. It has taken all these years of dedication and commitment to create the reputation that we all enjoy and are so proud of. The ceremony was presided over by our principal, Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy, who lit the lamp and participated in the pooja while shlokas were recited in the presence of all the staff and students. A senior teacher highlighted the beginning of the school and its glorious journey over the years.
CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS
The Children’s Day celebrations were filled with songs, dances, a fashion show, and a skit, leaving the children mesmerized. It was a day filled with vigor and enthusiasm as the children watched their teachers perform on stage. The celebrations included a special afternoon assembly.
A VISIT TO AN OLD AGE HOME
To mark Children’s Day significantly, a noble act was introduced by our Principal Mrs Radha Gurumurthy, wherein high school children visited an old age home and spent quality time with the elders. The students cheered them up by engaging them in sportive indoor games. The students also handed over clothes and commodities that were purchased with the contributions made by all the teachers and students. The students witnessed their united way of living and were blessed by the young minded elders.
ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS : 2023 – 2024
Annual day was celebrated on 22nd of December 2023.Dr Ramesh Bilimagga, President of Society of Radiation Research, India was the chief guest. The program was scheduled to start by 4.30 and all the parents and old students were invited. The program started with Bhagvad Geeta recitation and prize distribution. The Pre Primary students performed a skit on ‘Jungle Book’ followed by the performance of students from Grade 1 to 10, who performed skit and dance about ‘India Today’. The days event came to an end with a huge applause and appreciation.
SANKRANTI CELEBRATIONS
Sankranti is a harvest festival, when farmers celebrate the harvest season. In rural areas, there is a custom of people offering prayers to crops or the harvest. People also worship the Sun God and exchange “ellu-bella” with their friends, relatives, and neighbours. Kite flying competitions are organized in some places.
At Prasiddhi, Sankranti was celebrated by organizing various competitions for the students. Pot drawing and decoration competitions for 1st & 2nd standard, Kite decorating for 3rd, 4th & 5th standard, and Rangoli competition for 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th standard students were conducted on the eve of Sankranti. Students participated enthusiastically in all the events.
A special assembly session was conducted on Monday, 16th January 2024 which depicted how Sankranti festival is celebrated in different states across India.
