First Day of My SCHOOL

World Bicycle Day

3rd June 2025

On June 3rd, this year we celebrated the World Bicycle Day .It is an initiative recognized by the United Nations to highlight the bicycle’s critical role in sustainable development. At Prasiddhi, we conducted a Bicycle rally, where students of grade 9 and 10 had participated .We cycled and went to Vasanthnagar  with different slogans that echoed from our students. The public were inspired on the importance of the day and we got a good response. We were assisted by High grounds traffic police who guided us and made sure that our students were safe.

World Environment Day

5th June 2025

Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Prasiddhi School to spread awareness about protecting our planet. The program began with a speech by Dhriti M, highlighting the importance of saving nature for future generations. A thought-provoking quiz on environmental facts and issues was conducted to engage the students and test their awareness.
A melodious song on nature was performed by the school choir, followed by a short skit that creatively portrayed the consequences of pollution and deforestation. Students also took part in adopting the school premises by planting saplings, cleaning the campus, and decorating it with eco-friendly posters
The event concluded with all students and teachers taking a pledge to protect the environment, reduce plastic use, and contribute to a greener future. The celebration was a beautiful reminder of our responsibility towards nature. Children brought some saplings to school to make the environment still greenery.

Dengue Awareness Program

12th June 2025

In light of rising weather changes and mosquito-borne illnesses like dengue, an awareness program was held at Prasiddhi School on June 12th, 2025. Conducted by government doctors and the BBMP health department, the session emphasized individual responsibility in preventing the spread of viral infections and maintaining a healthy environment among the children.

Prasiddhi Elections - 2025

13th June 2025

The election for school leaders was conducted on 13th June 2025, following a democratic procedure similar to the government’s election system. All students from Grade IV to X were eligible to vote. Proper procedures were maintained with polling booths, voter lists, and ballot slips. The election helped instill values of fairness, participation, and responsibility among students. It was a successful event that reflected the spirit of democracy in action. After voting, the counting process was conducted by the teacher in charge. The results were announced in the school assembly by the Principal. The winners were congratulated and took a pledge to discharge their school duties effectively.

Fathers's Day

13th June 2025

“The child is father of the man” – William Wordsworth
The kindergarten children were overwhelmed with love and admiration for their father as they spoke about their daddy during the special assembly held on 13.6.25.
As a token of gratitude and appreciation, the children wrote Father’s Day wishes and decorated a special card for their dads. They were elated to take home their “Hero – Dad” card as a surprise gift.

Orientation Programme for Parents

14th June 2025

Prasiddhi School hosted an Orientation Programme for parents on June 14, 2025. The event featured Principal Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy, who addressed the evolving landscape of education, the importance of cultural values, and the school’s commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students both at home and within the school.
The orientation included discussions on several key initiatives and facilities. New ventures such as the introduction of Scouts and Guides, enhanced bus facilities, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence into the curriculum were highlighted. Parents also received updates on projects, the use of government-prescribed books, and uniform guidelines. Furthermore, the school outlined new opportunities for students, including volleyball coaching and special coaching in Taekwondo. Addressing parents, Paranjaya Krishna, the 2024-25 topper, shared his strategies for managing both Curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Traffic Awareness

19th June 2025

The traffic police from High Ground Police Station organized an inspiring traffic awareness session for our school students at Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to learn about road safety in a real-world setting. The officers spoke about the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets, and using pedestrian crossings responsibly. Real-life experiences were shared to highlight the dangers of reckless driving. The session also included a visit to the nearby Police Museum, where students explored historical exhibits and learned about the evolution of policing and traffic management. This visit made the experience more interactive and educational. The entire event was a great success, as students actively participated and gained a deeper understanding of their role in ensuring road safety. It was both an informative and memorable outing that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Visit to Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium

27th June 2025

The students of Prassidhi School went on an educational visit to the planetarium On 27th June 2025. The students from grade 3 to 10th were accompanied by teachers and sub-staff. The trip was organized to help students learn more about space and science. Everyone was very excited and eager for the experience. They reached the planetarium safely and were welcomed by the staff. The main highlight of the visit was the show titled “Dawn of the Space.” The show gave a fascinating insight into the history and wonders of space exploration. Students watched how rockets are launched and how astronauts live in space. The visuals were amazing and captured everyone’s attention. After the show, they also visited the Science Park nearby. The park had many interesting models and hands-on exhibits. Students enjoyed interacting with the displays and learning new things. Teachers guided the students and explained the concepts. It was both a fun and educational experience for all. The trip ended with happy faces and wonderful memories.

Red Day

27th June 2025

Red symbolizes love, power, strength, and determination. The Kindergarten children celebrated Red Day on 27.6.2025 with great enthusiasm. A parade by the confident little Prasiddians, dressed in vibrant red T-shirts and waving red pom-poms, immersed the audience in a grand display of energy and spirit. They also presented an assembly, emphasizing the significance of the colour red through songs, speeches, and cheerful performances.

Investiture Ceremony

28th June 2025

The Investiture Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and pride to formally appoint the newly elected student leaders. It took place on 28-06-2025 in the school premises. The event began with the pinning of badges by the Principal, symbolizing the transfer of responsibility. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, marking the beginning of the leaders’ official duties. The Principal addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of leadership, discipline, and responsibility. The newly appointed School Captain confidently delegated duties to other leaders. It was a memorable occasion, filled with pride and promise for the year ahead.

Guru Purnima

10th July 2025

“Guru Purnima is significant for expressing gratitude and reverence towards those who impart knowledge and wisdom, help dispel ignorance, and guide individuals on their path. During the morning assembly, students read about the significance of the celebration, chanted a shloka, and read a story related to Swami Vivekananda and Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa.”

Blue Day

25th July 2025

The colour blue is often associated with calmness, peace, serenity, and divinity.
‘Blue Day’ was celebrated on 25.07.2025. A small skit was presented by the Class XG children to spread the message — “Keep the ocean blue and clean.” The divine presence was beautifully felt when a little star of Prasiddhi, dressed as the Matsya Avatar of Lord Vishnu, appeared to save the marine life.
Through their lively dance performance and the joyful action song “Nag Naa, Naa, I’m So Happy,” the Kindergarteners radiated happiness and excitement all around.

ಸತ್ಯಮೇವ ಜಯತೆ

ಪುಣ್ಯಕೋಟಿಯ ಕಥೆ ಇದು ಸತ್ಯದ ಕಥೆ. ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಿದ ಗೋವಿನ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಕಥೆಯು ಸತ್ಯವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ತಂದೆ, ಸತ್ಯವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಂಧು ಬಳಗ, ಸತ್ಯ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿ ನಡೆದರೆ ಭಗವಂತನೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸತ್ಯದ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆಗಳು ಎಂದರೆ ಅಚ್ಚು ಮೆಚ್ಚು. ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ದಿನ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಇದು ಒಂದು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾರ್ಗ.

World Sanskrit Day

World Bio-Fuel Day

11th Aug 2025

World Bio-Fuel Day was observed at Prasiddhi School with enthusiasm by the Grade 9 students. They highlighted the importance of renewable energy and the need to reduce dependence on conventional fossil fuels. Through informative presentations posters, the students spread awareness about sustainable alternatives and the role of bio-fuels in protecting our environment. The event encouraged everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices for a greener future.

National Library Day

12th Aug 2025

At Prasiddhi School, we celebrated National Library Day with enthusiasm. Students spoke about the importance of libraries as treasure houses of knowledge and remembered Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India. A fun quiz was conducted with questions like “Who is the Father of Library Science?” and “Which is the largest library in India?” Students’ actively participated and shared how reading builds imagination, discipline, and wisdom. The celebration ended with a pledge to use the library regularly and make books our best friends

Traffic Awareness and “Say No to Plastic” Drive

13th Aug 2025

The kindergarten students of Prasiddhi School visited Highgrounds Police Station as part of an awareness initiative. The little ones, full of enthusiasm and innocence, actively participated in spreading important social messages on “Traffic Awareness” and “No to Plastic.”
To make the program meaningful and inspiring, the children were dressed up as freedom fighters, symbolizing the spirit of responsibility and sacrifice. Just as our national leaders fought for the country’s independence, the students conveyed that today’s freedom lies in freeing our society from dangers like road accidents and plastic pollution.

Independence Day

15th Aug 2025

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event began with colourful drills that showcased unity, discipline, and teamwork, followed by vibrant cultural performances. Energetic dance sequences filled the stage with patriotic fervour, while a powerful skit on Operation Sindoor Vijay left the audience deeply moved and inspired. The entire celebration reflected the values of freedom, sacrifice, and pride in our nation.

Krishna Janmashtami

18th Aug 2025

The birth story of Lord Krishna was narrated and enacted by the Kindergarten children during the assembly on 18.08.2025. They showcased the ordeal of Vasudeva and Devaki in saving the divine child. The dramatization, along with the mischievous innocence of the little ones, brought the story to life. Their devotional dance performances filled the school atmosphere with joy, transforming it into a mini Brindavan.
The beautifully decorated butter pot was broken by the “little Krishna,” symbolizing the cultural tradition and spreading awareness among children.

World Photography Day

19th Aug 2025

On the occasion of World Photography Day, Grade 8 students of Prasiddhi School explored the art of capturing moments through the lens. They shared creative clicks showcasing nature, campus life, and daily experiences, highlighting how photography helps us see beauty in simple things. The celebration encouraged students to express their imagination, creativity, and perspective through photographs, making the day both meaningful and memorable.

“Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Prasiddhi School. The students expressed their love and gratitude through cultural performances, heartfelt speeches, and creative activities, making the day memorable for all the teachers.”
Fun and engaging games were organised for the teachers on Teachers’ Day at Prasiddhi.
The celebration was filled with laughter and joy as teachers actively participated in the games.
The games created a cheerful atmosphere and made the day memorable for all the teachers.

Picnic and Adventurous Trip

5th & 6th September 2025

The High School students had a memorable trip to Coorg, where they stayed at Hill View resort and explored the beauty of nature. The visit included breath-taking views of the hills, the sacred Talakaveri, the stunning Abbey Falls, and the Elephant Camp. The experience was both fun and filled with learning.
Students from Grade I–VII went on a picnic to Rockport Resort on 6/09/2025. They enjoyed all the activities such as rock climbing, zipline, bullock cart ride, tractor ride, rolling the ball, bridge climbing, and most of all, the rain dance. The food and snacks served were very delicious.

ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮರು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಮಾಡಿ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರಿಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣದೊಂದು ಉಡುಗೊರೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.ಅವರ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯವರು, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸದಾ ಚಿರಋಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ .

 

Zenith Volleyball Fest

30th October 2025

“The day began with great enthusiasm among all our school students. The sports fest, Zenith, was held on the 30th of this month. We had invited many schools to participate, and a total of ten teams, including ours, took part in the event. Ms. Sneha Reddy emerging National Volleyball player was present in the midst of young school teams to encourage them.

The first match was the girls’ match, where our team played against Chitrakoota and put up a good fight but unfortunately lost the game. The next match was between Chitrakoota Kousalya and Colonel School. Both the Chitrakoota teams made it to the finals. The girls’ final match was very exciting, and after a tough competition, Chitrakoota Kousalya emerged as the winner.

Following the girls’ matches, the boys’ matches were held. Our school boys’ team performed brilliantly and reached the finals against Aditi Public School. The final match was full of thrill and excitement, and everyone enjoyed watching it. Although Aditi Public School won the match, our boys played with great team spirit and determination.

We also had a wonderful surprise for everyone — our school alumni joined us to cheer for the teams and even played a friendly match with the same opponents from the finals. The fest concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, leaving everyone with smiles, pride, and unforgettable memories.”

Sports Day

31st October 2025

The annual sports day was held on October 31st. It began with a zeal that was ready to celebrate sportsmanship and teamwork. After the successful ‘Zenith Volleyball Fest’ the events on sports day unfolded smoothly, with all participants in high spirits and ready to perform their best. Winners received the medals and certificates from our Secretary Sri Narayana Raju sir.
Aravalli House were the winners with the highest points, scoring 545. Sahyadri House were the runners-up with 505 points, followed by Vindhya House with 435 points and Satpura House with 395 points.

ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ

ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ೭೦ನೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು

“ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಭಾಷೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ. ಈ ಭಾಷೆಯು ೨೦೦೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಡಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಇದೆ. ಇಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಹಲವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವಚನ ಪಠಣ, ತ್ರಿಪದಿಗಳು, ಹಾಗೂ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪಠಣ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕವಿಗಳು, ವಚನಕಾರರು, ದಾಸರುಗಳು ಇವರ ವೇಷ ಭೂಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಇವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವಾರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಗೀತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೃತ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆರುಗು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಸಡಗರ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ದಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.”

Founder's Day

A day to recognize and reflect the legacy of the institution was celebrated on 13th November 2025.The celebration commenced with chanting shlokas from Vishnu Sahasranama followed by a speech about the growth of the institution by Mrs Sunita Jain . Principal Mrs Radha Gurumurthy addressed the students to create an awareness about the mission and values of education.

Children's Day

Children’s Day was joyfully celebrated at Prasiddhi School on 14th November with great enthusiasm and love. The celebration began with a warm and cheerful welcome song  by Mrs. Veen Shree, our Nursery teacher. This was followed by a thoughtful message shared by Ms. Mary Basilica, inspiring the students with the true spirit of the day. A heartfelt speech by Ms .Tejaswini added meaning to the occasion. The highlight of the event was the colourful fancy-dress competition presented by the KG students, who lit up the stage with their adorable performances. Teachers showcased their talents through a melodious group song, an expressive mime act, and an energetic dance performance, making the day even more memorable. The program concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by Dhrithi of Grade 10. To add sweetness to the celebration, sweets were distributed to all the children, making it a delightful end to a wonderful day.

Yellow Day

Yellow day: (16.01.2026)
YELLOW symbolises sunshine – a new beginning.
The KG students celebrated yellow day and Sankranti festival on 16.01.2026. The children came in vibrant yellow colour attire, spreading sense of happiness and fostering positivity in the campus, They spoke about the significance of YELLOW colour and how Sankranti festival is celebrated in other states of India, The take home gift -A bright yellow colour sun filled the children with excitement, happiness and added sparkling hue to the Yellow day celebrations.
