Orientation for Teachers on Technology Integration in Education
One day orientation program on “Technology Integration in Education” was organized for the teachers on 24th May 2024. It was conducted by IT for Change, a Bengaluru based NGO working in the area of Education since 2011. The sessions started with an introduction to the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) applications, Open Educational Resources (OER) and their use in teaching-learning. This was followed by a session on creating a digital ‘Concept Map’ using Freeplane where teachers participated by providing their inputs. This was followed by sessions on Story-bassed Pedagogy and integrating digital technologies in teaching Mathematics and Science. These sessions included demonstrations with exemplars. Teachers had hands-on practice in the computer lab where they explored creating concept maps, accessing stories from Story weaver, using resources for Mathematics & Science, and trying out the resources and activities from the Karnataka Open Educational Resources (KOER) portal.
World Bicycle Day
On June 3rd ,This year we celebrated the World Bicycle Day .It is an initiative recognized by the United Nations to highlight the bicycle’s critical role in sustainable development. At Prasiddhi, we conducted a Bicycle rally, where students of Grade 8,9 and 10 had participated .We cycled and went to Vasanthnagar, Guttahalli, Malleshwaram with different slogans that echoed from our students. The public were inspired on the importance of the day and we got a good response. We were assisted by a traffic police who guided and made sure that our students were safe.
Orientation for Parents
Orientation for parents – an forum was conducted on 01.06.2024. Principal Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy shared her experience and knowledge to create an awareness regarding values, academics and activities to be conducted in the academic year 2024-25. Parents appreciated the tentative and efforts of the principal. They were happy about the transport facility being provided for the students.
Club activities, Sports activities plan for the year 2024-25 were discussed. 2023-24 X Std result (Board exam) was projected. Parents felt happy about it.
World Environment Day
June 5th , Prasiddhi observed World Environment Day. The theme for the year 2024 focuses “Land Restoration, stopping desertification and building drought resilience”. Hence we took up an activity, that involves everyone to come forward and make a tree blossom colourfully. Moreover, students performed a song and a skit on what happens to our environment now. Many students joyfully brought saplings to school and planted them. This initiative will definitely bring in a change in the minds of our students about saving our environment.
Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Program

On Friday,14th June,2024 “Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Program” was carried out under the watchful guidance and cooperation from the High Grounds Police Station Head Constable, Mr. Atahulla Baig and Police Inspector , Mr. Krishnappa K.V. The officials provided valuable tips and educated the students in “Traffic awareness and rules”. The Objective of the program was to create awareness and promote road safety in and around school premises. The officials also provided a great insight on how to use of public roads safely and transport by all classes of road users which greatly reduce the accidents.
The officials also provided a valuable lesson on the steps that the children could take to make their area free of road accidents.The officials stressed on the need to use the School Bus transport and how their usage significantly lowers the rate of accidents. Towards the end, there was a Q/A session where our students asked the officials several interesting and thought provoking questions. The students vowed to follow the traffic rules and make the place free of accidents.
PRASIDDHI Elections

School elections are an opportunity for learning through practice that is central to citizenship education, leadership and life skills. The school election was held on 14th June. It provided an opportunity for learning through practice. The prasiddhians learnt that it is the central part of leadership and life skills. The function of prefects is to help the administration and maintain a friendly and orderly atmosphere amongst the students in the school. It is also challenging and fun to be a part of.
The students from Higher Primary to High school were given an opportunity to cast their votes. The entire set up gave a sense of actual scenario of elections.
International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21 June at Prasiddhi to highlight the importance of Yoga and its benefits on mind and body. It was a discipline that originated in ancient India and was aimed at instilling peace of mind and body with concentration, meditation, postures and breathing. Yoga can be said to have over 5000 years of history and is probably one of the oldest ways to keep track of mind and body.
Dorrith Nair M of Grade 7 and Vedanth B of Grade 4 depicted Tadasana,Trikonasana,Veerabhadrasana,Parshvakonasana,Ardhachakrasana,Chakrasana and Dandasana.
Red Day

RED radiates Love, Life, Vitality, Courage and Determination. A special assembly was conducted by KG children on account of ‘Red Day’. They depicted fire engine, post box, Little Red Riding Hood and Santa Claus to show the characters of Red colour. They also highlighted the significance of RED colour.
Rangoli decorated with flowers by the children added hue to be vibrant ambience.
Investiture Ceremony

Investiture Ceremony of Prasiddhi School transpired on June 28th,2024.
The elected leaders were honoured and vested with power and authority. To take up the mantle of leadership. With the blessings of the God Almighty, the school leaders received their badges & vowed to be dedicated & committed towards their responsibilities. On behalf of our Management, our Principal Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy had wished, addressed the leaders to possess and follow leadership qualities. All the teachers had wished them.

Doctors Day was celebrated on 01/07/2024 during the morning assembly a tribute to the esteemed Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy .The students of Grade V spoke about Opthalomogist Dr. Trishala M B ,Cardiologist Dr Nagamalesh UM ,Oncologist Dr Neema Bhat,Pulmonologist Dr.P Jagadeesh and Orthologist Dr.Saraswati Viswanathan. A students mimed to dedicate,honour,appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of doctors.Students creatively displayed charts to the best six doctors Sunshine,Air,Water,Exercise,balanced Diet and rest.
BLUE DAY

‘BLUE’ -The colour of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust.
Kindergarten children spoke about blue colour objects like blue berries, blue bells and blue sky. A visit to the aquarium at. Cubbon Park offered an extensive visual stimulation for the children and made their Blue Day a pleasant and an amazing learning experience. KG children hold the mike and shared their experience was during assembly was the highlight.
कारगिल विजय दिवस

कारगिल विजय दिवस हम प्रत्येक वर्ष 26 जुलाई को मनाते है। इस दिन भारत और पाकिस्तान की सेनाओं के बीच वर्ष 1999 में कारगिल युद्ध हुआ था जो लगभग 60 दिन चला था और 26 जुलाई के दिन इसका अंत हुआ और इसमें भारत विजयी हुआ। कारगिल विजय दिवस युद्ध में शहीद हुए भारतीय जवानों के सम्मान हेतु मनाया जाता है। हमारे विद्यालय के छात्र तुविक्ष कक्षा-2 के छात्र ने कारगिल विजय दिवस पर अपने विचार दिए।
कक्षा – 3 व कक्षा – 4 की छात्रा समीक्षा, देशना और समिष्का ने कविता की पंक्तियाँ सुनाई।

Tigers Day

Tigers Day 2024 celebrates the majesty and significance of tigers in the wild. It aims to raise awareness about the threats facing these iconic big cats and to promote conservation efforts. This year, the focus is on increasing protection for their habitats and combating illegal wildlife trade, highlighting the urgent need to ensure their survival for future generations. On 29th July 2024, on account of International Tiger’s day student of class 1 conducted an assembly programme to raise awareness on protecting tigers. The students conducted an interactive conversation for why trigers should be protected. An energetic tiger dance was performed by our little tigers and a quiz about tigers and there conservation.
ISRO Visit on account of National Space Day
The students of Prasiddhi embarked on an informational and exciting journey to Antariksh Bhavan, at the ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore on 2nd August, 2024. The students participated in the Space quiz conducted on the occasion of National Space Day. The students also witnessed inspirational talks by the chief of Chandrayaan-3 operations, Professor Veeramuthuvel and interacted with the ISRO Chief, Mr. Somanath. This visit was a great experience for the students.
TCS Quiz

Our School senior students (15) participated in the prestigious TCS InQuizitive Quiz held on 8th August, 2024 at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall. Around 80 schools and nearly 1000 students participated in this quiz competition, making this one of the most competitive quizzes of the country. In 2024, the quiz was held across 12 cities bringing the excitement and energy of live quizzing back to participants and audiences alike.
Questions were in the form of oral, visual and audiovisual.
Although, the school team was unable to appear on the podium, they stayed till the very end. It was a fun and enriching experience for the students and they are keen and determined to appear in the next year’s event and bring laurels!!
India 2047 – National Level Short Film Competition
11th August 2024
We are thrilled to announce that our school’s short film, “Clean Future Crew,” has proudly secured a spot in the Top 17 of Val-Ed’s National Short Film Competition – India 2047- envisioning the future, in celebration of this Independence Day! This incredible achievement is a true testament to the creativity, talent and dedication of our teachers and students.
The school was shortlisted in the top 17(out of 57 schools) and in the final round we were placed 7th. The event organizers, Val-Ed Initiatives appreciated our effort. The team was praised for its execution of the theme of “Waste Management Issue” and the measures to be taken to counter such an issue.
Overall, it was a fun and learning experience for everyone involved.

Independence Day

The 78th year of Independence was celebrated grandly at Prasiddhi school with great pride and honor.
The teachers and students worked together to create a festive and patriotic atmosphere by decorating the school premises. The school adorned with colorful displays and gave everyone a sense of patriotic fervor.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National flag by the secretary and Principal. It was accompanied by reciting of the national anthem and a synchronized march past.
The feeling and aura of patriotism filled everyone’s hearts following the stunning cultural performances by the students which included speech, fancy dress, dance aerobics, mime and special dances.

The festival which nurtures and celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters was observed at the school. The KG students expressed their love and care for their peer group by tying Rakhi(made by their respective teachers).
Clean Future Crew – Short Movie
Our school’s short film, “Clean Future Crew” made it to the finals of Val-Ed’s National Short Film Competition – India 2047- envisioning the future, in celebration of 78th Independence Day! The team received appreciation for its execution of the theme of ‘Waste Management Issue’ by all including the Bengaluru South MP, Mr Tejaswi Surya who shared a special letter recognizing our team’s achievement.

We added a new feather in our cap when our School won an award in the category of ‘Continuous Improvement’ in the annual Karnataka Unaided Schools
Management Association (KUSMA) awards.
SPORTS DAY 2024
Prasiddhi School’s Sport Day 2024 was on 26.10.2024 and began with a zeal that was ready to celebrate sportsmanship and teamwork. After the successful ‘Aura Volleyball fest’ the events on sports day unfolded smoothly, with all participants in high spirits and ready to perform their best.
AVYANG DESTITUTE & OLD AGE HOME
Principal Mrs. Radha Gurumurthy, teachers and students visited the Avyang Destitute & Old Age Home on 30.10.2024 on the occasion of Diwali to build intergenerational connections to learn about the elderly, develop empathy and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of compassion and respect towards elders, played games, entertained and served lunch. The students took the blessings from elderly citizens. They advised them to work hard, study and achieve good results.
THE PALACIO CARNIVAL FEST
The Palacio Carnival Fest (09.11.2024) was organized by Prasiddhi School for Kindergarten students of various schools. . It was a lively celebration filled with fun and excitement. Colorful palace themed decorations, bouncing castles, balloon art mascots of Doreamon and Shizuka added royalty to the day! The students got themselves treats of candy floss and popcorn from the stalls. Parents, play school incharges and children joined in to make the event memorable creating a festive and joyful moment for all. The music set the mood, as young children enjoyed a variety of games, rides, and competitions and Magic Show.
BHARATH SCOUTS & GUIDES
Exciting News!!!
This academic year, the management has taken the initiative to introduce the “Scouts and Guides”.
Under this initiative students of Pre-primary are grouped as “BUNNY”, students of class I to IV are segregated as “Cubs” and “Bulbuls” while students from grades V to VIII are distinguished as “Scouts” and “Guides”.
This initiative was taken to instill a sense of discipline, self care and determination.

ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 08/11/2024 ರಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ, ನಂತರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ, ಸೊಬಗು, ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ, ಕುಣಿದು ಮನರಂಜನೆ ನೀಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ನಂತರ ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿದೆವು.
FOUNDERS DAY
A day to recognize and reflect the legacy of the institution was celebrated on 13th November 2024.The celebration commenced with chanting shlokas from Vishnu Sahasranama followed by a speech about the growth of the institution. Principal Mrs Radha Gurumurthy addressed the students to create an awareness about the mission and values of education.
CHILDREN’S DAY
Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November to raise an awareness about the rights, education and welfare of children. The teachers entertained the students with songs, dances and skit to appreciate the innocence and potential of the students and to signify the importance of the celebration.
BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT 2024
Asia’s Largest Tech Conclave – The 27th edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024, proudly hosted by the Department of E, IT and BT, Government of Karnataka, took place from November 19-21, 2024 in India’s technology capital- Bengaluru, at the iconic Bangalore Palace. This year, the central theme of BTS, ‘Breaking Boundaries’, to the next level, to ‘Unbound’. Prasiddhi students of Grade 9 & 10 visited Bangalore Tech Summit 2024 and gained more knowledge about latest technologies.
THE HINDU YOUNG WORLD QUIZ
The Hindu Science Quiz Competition (06.02.2025) is an annual event organized by The Hindu newspaper to promote scientific curiosity and knowledge among students. It typically covers various science topics, including physics, chemistry, biology, space, technology, and current scientific developments. The quiz aims to encourage young minds to explore and appreciate the wonders of science. Our school students from grade 4 to 9 participated in this event and experienced a unique opportunity to explore science topics. It was held at Chowdaih Memorial Hall, Vyalikaval.
CAREER COUNSELLING
Ali Khwaja, B. Tech. (IIT), MIE, MIIE and Ph. D in behavioral sciences from banjara Academy conducted an insightful career counselling session (10.02.2025) for grade 9 and Grade 10 students. The session aimed to guide students in exploring various career paths, understanding their strengths.
The interactive discussion allowed students to ask questions ,good clarity on different professions and received practical advice for their educational journey. The session provided the students with the motivation and knowledge to plan their future.
YELLOW DAY
‘YELLOW’ is a warm colour often associated with optimism, purity and chastity. The kindergarten children celebrated YELLOW DAY on 12.2.2025. Children came dressed in different tints of yellow colour. In the special assembly, they spoke about yellow colour emoji, fruit and object.
The adorable kindergarteners participated in the ‘Catwalk Show’ as a part of the yellow day celebration which nurtured their creativity, confidence and social skills. Teachers sent them home with yellow colour fruit made with cardboard sheet. Yellow Day was thoroughly enjoyed by the KG kids
NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY
National Science Day: Prasiddhi School celebrated National Science Day with a vibrant science exhibition, Tarang, showcasing student innovation.
• Students presented a diverse array of scientific models and experiments, like Tesla car, Solar system, models of Human systems, etc demonstrating key concepts.
• The event aimed to foster scientific curiosity and encourage practical application of knowledge.
• The exhibition provided a platform for students to display their creative problem-solving and scientific understanding.
GRADUATION DAY
8th Mar 2025
The 10th Graduation Day was a memorable occasion marked by tradition and celebration. The event began with the lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom. Graduates then took the oath, pledging to uphold integrity and professionalism in their future endeavors. Teachers and mentors extended their best wishes, sharing inspiring words and encouragement. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementos, a token of appreciation for the graduates’ hard work and dedication. It was a day of pride, joy and new beginning.

KUMBH MELA
The end term assembly was conducted by the kindergarten children on 14.03.2025.The K.G children enacted a skit “A trip to Kumbha Mela” which vividly depicted the rituals at Kumbha Mela. The most gratifying and captivating dance performance of the tiny tots for the devotional song ‘Hara Hara Shambho’ left the audience spellbound, ensuring divine blessings upon them.
