CURRICULUM

Prasiddhi offers State Board pattern of syllabus. Educational contents of the curriculum are regularly upgraded to fall in line with the great multiplicity of the sources of information and our guiding philosophy. We believe that creativity is not that which can be thrust upon, but that which can be expanded upon. Every child, we believe, has a talent like a spark within, and this spark needs the right medium for expression, which is provided through an integrated and inter-disciplinary approach.

In the wake of major changes shaping up in the education sector, with the introduction of NEP 2020, Prasiddhi School takes immense pleasure in adopting the new framework across all grades from kindergarten to grade 10.

We would like to keep you abreast the following inclusions in our school, grade wise-
1)The school curriculum and pedagogy will aim at a holistic development of learners by equipping them with the key 21st century skills to enhance essential learning and critical thinking and greater focus on experiential learning.
2)Students will have increased flexibility and choice of subjects.
3)There will be no rigid separations between arts and sciences, between curricular and extra-curricular activities, between vocational and academic streams.
4)Common Standards of Learning across all the boards- State Board, CBSE, ICSE or IGCSE will be followed.
5)Vocational education will start in schools from 6th grade onwards and will include internships in their selected vocational course. Every child will come out of school adept in at least one Skill.
6)Sanskrit to be offered at all levels of the school, and higher education as an option, including in the three-language formula.
7)Board exams to test core concepts and application of knowledge.
8)Students will participate in fun activity on the ‘Languages of India’, sometime in grades 6-8, such as Ek Bharath Shresht Bharath initiative.
9)Foreign language will also be offered at secondary level.
10)National Assessment Survey (NAS) to be conducted in schools at grades 3, 5, and grade 8 levels to understand the learning levels of the children.
11)Pre primary to grade 2 to be termed as Foundational Block with a similar pedagogical practice across nursery to grade 2.
12)Academy for Creative Teaching will support the school in the implementation of NEP.
